USCG: Athena Technologies working in Willingham Harbor Shipping Channel

Athena Technologies will be conducting work to collect vibracores within the Wilmington Harbor shipping channel starting May 8th until 23 Sep 2023. As of right now, vibracores are to be collected in the following reaches: Smith Island Channel, Baldhead-Caswell, Southport, Battery Island, Horseshoe Shoal, Lower Lilliput, Upper Lilliput, and Keg Island (Southern Half). Majority of these vibracore locations are on the outer edge of the channel footprint.

They will be docking their vessel at Southport and will be collecting vibracores during daylight hours. They will be monitoring VHF 16, but please let them know if there is another operating channel you would like them to monitor.
