USCG: Strong to Severe Storms Possible

A developing low pressure center will develop along the Middle Texas Coast later today, and make its way to the northeast along the coastline through tomorrow. The key window to be aware of is late tonight through tomorrow, when a couple strong to severe storms could emerge. The first threat to emerge will be storms with large hail late tonight. Potential for damaging winds will match the hail threat on Thursday, as well as potential for localized heavy rain causing flooding concerns in vulnerable locations. Finally, Thursday will see a secondary threat of a brief tornado or two closer to the coast.
