Subaqueous Stone Placement MM 11.5 to 20.1 AHP LDB:
- Continuing through approximately November 18, 2022, a U.S. Government Contractor is placing subaqueous stone along the LDB, of the Mississippi River, from approximate Mile 11.5, AHOP to Mile 20.1, AHOP. The contractor will work 7-days a week, 10-hours a day, during daylight hours. The plant will include a Spud Barge with hydraulic backhoe. An office barge and various material barges will be on-site, staged along the river at this location. During nighttime hours, the contractor will be staged along the LDB, out of the Mississippi River Channel. The M/V MISS BARBARA ANN can be contacted on VHF-FM Channels 16 and 67. Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made. - LA - MISSISSIPPI RIVER, MILE 53.0, AHOP TO MILE 55.0, AHOP - Construction Operations Continuing until approximately June 30, 2024, Weeks Marine is conducting construction operations for Venture Global at Mile 53.0, AHOP to Mile 55.0, AH0P, RDB, Lower Mississippi River. Operations will be conducted from 6:00 a.m., to 6:00 p.m., each day. The on-scene vessel, Tug ELIZABETH and supporting vessels will be monitoring VHF-FM Channels 16, 65 and 67. Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake, provide wide berth, and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made. - LA - MISSISSIPPI RIVER, MILE 55.0, AHOP - Pile Driving Operations Continuing until December 31, 2022, Weeks-Massman is conducting pile driving operations on the Lower Mississippi River, at Mile 55.0, AHOP. Equipment on-scene will be Barge MCC 266, M/V BILL O'DONLEY. On-scene vessels will monitor VHF-FM Channels 13 and 67.
- LA - MISSISSIPPI RIVER, MILE 63.0, AHOP - MILE 66.0, AHOP - Dredge Operation Continuing until approximately February 28, 2023, Dredge J.S. CHATRY is operating in the Alliance Anchorage Borrow Area, between Mile 63.0, AHOP to Mile 66.0, AHOP. Dredged material will be transported through a combination of floating and submerged line. The pipeline will be removed at the completion of dredging operations. A submerged line is installed along the RDB, of the Mississippi River, south of the Alliance Anchorage Borrow Area. Work limits for the Alliance Anchorage Borrow Area and pipeline corridor will be bound by the following approximate positions:

- Temporary Anchorage Restrictions: Vessels seeking to anchor in Alliance Anchorage Area will coordinate with U.S. Coast Guard Designated Representative (Master of the on-scene
- Dredge, J.S. CHATRY). Vessels anchoring in Alliance Anchorage Area shall provide a minimum one-half mile separation between their anchored position and the on-scene dredge, unless a deviation is authorized by the Designated Representative. Mariners should notify Dredge J.S. CHATRY upon approaching the area on VHF-FM Channels 13, 16 or 67, or via phone, at (985) 237-5041, for further instructions on how to proceed into the area in a safe manner. Operations will be conducted 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. The dredge and attendant plan will monitor VHF-FM Channels 13, 16 and 67. Mariners are urged to use extreme caution and transit the area at their slowest safe speed to create minimum wake after passing arrangements have been made. Dredge pipeline and equipment will each have all required U.S. Coast Guard lighting for night operations.

- LA - LOWER MISSISSIPPI RIVER - 106.0, AHOP - US 90 HUEY P LONG BRIDGE - Pier Fender Replacement
- Continuing until approximately December 16, 2022, Coastal Marine Contractors LLC., is replacing the pier fenders on the U.S. 90 Huey P. Long Bridge across the Lower Mississippi River, Mile 106.0, AHOP, New Orleans, LA. Work will be conducted from 7:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., Monday through Sunday. The on-scene floating plant will consist of the Tug WEST PEARL RIVER and a deck barge. The floating plant will relocate at the end of each workday. The M/V WEST PEARL RIVER will monitor VHF-FM Channels 8, 16 or 67. Mariners are urged to transit the area at their slowest safe speed to minimize their wake and proceed with caution. - LA - MISSISSIPPI RIVER, MILE 167.5 - Bridge Repair Commencing November 14, 2022 and continuing until May 30, 2023, repairs are being made to the Pier 4 bridge protection system on the SR 70 Sunshine Bridge, across the Lower Mississippi River, Mile 167.5, AHOP, near Donaldsonville, LA., from 6:00 a.m., to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Two work barges and the M/V RUDY T., will be working at Pier 4. The barges will extend 100 feet from the pier into the channel. Repairs will take place on both sides of the pier. At the end of the work day all equipment will be secured on the LDB. Mariners should contact the RUDY T., via VHF-FM Channel 16, for updates.
- LA - MISSISSIPPI RIVER, MILE 173.5, AHOP - Dredge Operation Continuing until August 24, 2023, dredging operations are being conducted on the Lower Mississippi River, near Mile 173.5, AHOP, RDB, near Donaldsonville, Louisiana, in Ascension Parish, to allow vessels to use existing dock facilities. The project will require the use of floating construction equipment. The dredge can be contacted on either VHF-FM Channel 16 or 67, for sailing instructions. Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made.
- LA - MISSISSIPPI RIVER, MILE 189.8 – Pipeline Removal operations Enterprise pipeline removal operations at Mile Marker 189.8, within the marked navigation channel along the sailing line, are completed. No more closures are expected and vessels are not required to check in with Vessel Traffic Service. Removal operations will continue outside the channel through December 1, 2022, 24 hours per day. Vessels navigating this area should proceed at their slowest safe speed and transit only within the marked channel along the sailing line. Mariners should contact the vessel on scene, M/V LB SPEEDY via VHF-FM channel 16 for on scene updates. Marine Safety Information Bulletin, Issue 54 is cancelled.
- Subaqueous Stone Placement M/V Mila Kate at MM 192.7 AHP RDB. No work performed at this time, equipment remains on scene awaiting next supply of rocks. When working they will be working 7 days a week daylight hours only, with various office, deck, hydraulic, and material barges staged at this location. All ships are requested to contact the M/V MILA KATE on VHF 7/67 or at 504-495-1478 30 min prior to arrival. Job is waiting on rocks to be delivered. 30 min arrival notice is not required until more rocks arrive.
