Welder (Baltimore, MD)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

  • Metal inert gas (MIG) weld 1/16” to 1/4” gauge mild and stainless-steel components together using .035 to .045 diameter fluxcore hardwire welding equipment.
  • Weld components in flat, vertical or overhead positions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY: Company is willing to train.

  • Understand industrial safety procedures for welders and adhere to company safety standards at all times.
  • Have good problem-solving skills, basic math skills.
  • Able to take direction, communicate with others, and complete tasks efficiently with a high level of quality.
  • Training and experience operating a forklift, jib crane, and overhead crane. (Company will provide training)
  • Must be able to work as part of a team.
  • Able to interpret CAD engineering drawings.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Practices a strong work ethic.
  • Possesses qualities such as dependability, resourcefulness, efficiency, and professionalism.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Welding certification from an educational institution.
  • Minimum two-year welding experience
