Date: 03/29/2023 06:00 thru UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Beginning at 0600 hrs. on Wednesday, 29-March-2023 mariners must contact the Peoria Lock and Dam and the M/V City of Ottawa on channel 13, 14, or 82, a minimum of one mile away from the lock and dam until further notice. Mariners may be requested to hold up before transiting over the dam to enable the divers to safely exit the water and the maintenance fleet to reposition.

The purpose of the closure is to replace certain wickets which require the dam to be down.

Mariners are urged to transit at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made.
